Oikos

An "oikos" is the ancient Greek equvalent to a household, or family. An oikos was the basic unit of society in most Greek city-states, and eventually came to represent much more than just the immediate, or nuclear, family.
In January, Cheryl will be teaching about each of our "oikos" as it relates to our families, our work, our homes, our church, our neighbors, and 414.
